Nighttime transforms the everyday into a space where the familiar becomes unfamiliar. These works are a study of a city that is both asleep and awake. It traces the quiet back streets, of factories and stores when their doors are closed, the empty parks and sleepy sidewalks that twinkle with light under a dark canopy. The resulting works are fragments that don’t quite make up a whole, but rather leave an open-ended impression of place.
