Spectrum Portraits

Spectrum Portraits is a series of portraits are all taken in the strict, formal style of typologies. I chose subjects who are all at similar points and ages in their lives, and photographed them from their shoulders up, focusing on their eyes and letting everything else become soft. My intention was for these to represent the feelings we experience as we become more entrenched in the decisions we have made for our lives, while at the same time offering a reminder that our lives are never fixed and the possibility of change exists.
