Migrant Communities

Migrant Communities is a series which looks at migrant worker communities on the outskirts of Beijing and Shanghai. This floating population of several hundred million people, which has provided the fluid labor force allowing China to succeed, is largely excluded from the rights and privileges of the original residents of China’s major cities.
