Eden, 2005-2007

The Eden title alludes to an overbuilt paradise where the vegetation is able, in spite of innumerable blocks, to recover its own wild dimension, almost uncontaminated.
After some work days I have become to invert the prospective in which we usually move: when we observe a tree in the city, we see it like an exceptional element that grows, as it really is, surrounded by buildings. I have started to photograph trees in a way where the buildings are the intruders, as they were born making their way through the vegetation, thing that moreover has historically happened in the city past.
