I teach photography at high school in my home town and I meet my students every morning. Since they change so fast day after day, they are the perfect subject to insist on. Photography allowed me to approach this discontinuity as a study of and along time. Furthermore, the 8×10 inch camera is the perfect device to render the stillness in the movement. It requires a lot of time for shooting, during which the photographic relation becomes a human relationship. The latter, as the former, will not last untouched for a long time. In fact, after the shooting, the relationship between us inevitably evolves, develops, or lessens interest. These photographs are just a stage of this research that, as photography, will require continuous incursions.
