State Of Youth

This series of images was produced in Vietnam in 2007-08, roughly a year after the country joined the World Trade Organization. Isolated politically and economically from the West for decades, present day generations are presented with a mixed cultural landscape unlike anything ever witnessed in this SE Asian nation of nearly 90 million. This project was funded through a Fulbright research grant.
