With my series Photographs from Vietnam, I look at the landscape and the people in Vietnam. The following photographs were made throughout all different parts of Vietnam. During my trips to Vietnam, my parents and I decide on a place to visit that we haven’t visited before.
Being a first generation citizen from the United States with a family that escaped the aftermath of the Vietnam war, I am fascinated by the landscape and the people that inhabit the country. My intent is to create photographs that are quiet and ethereal, yet posses bold qualities that ground the landscape.
