The Great Divide

The Great Divide defines the hydrological boundary between the western and eastern watersheds of North America: water flows east toward the Atlantic Ocean on one side, and west toward the Pacific on the other. Taking the physical setting of the Great Divide as a backdrop, this work repurposes the Divide’s physical geography to figurative ends and asks “Where do things end up on either side of a wedge?”
