Levittown

Levittown is a series of photographs made one snowy, winter night in Levittown, NY. Conceived and built by Levitt and Sons between 1947 and 1951, Levittown is widely regarded as the archetype for postwar suburban development in America. These photographs take this important housing development as source material for celebrating the individual architectural modifications made to a small selection of once-identical houses.
