The work deals with a field of tension between the instinctive behaviour of animals and the documentary-analytical evaluation of the humans as observers. It is trying to connect both levels conceptually by already stating the image-originating process as an approximation to the emotive, intuitive action of the animal. The photographer approaches his object without concrete parameters or definite intent, ready to react out of the moment. This results in still, mystic images of animals´ and landscapes´ morphologies, which, like analytically appearing excerpts, in their combination and wholeness form an atmospheric entity.
